THE CLIENT

The Families Commission provides a voice for New Zealand families and whānau. They speak out for all families to promote a better understanding of family issues and needs among government agencies and the wider community.

THE CHALLENGE

To create and launch a unique brand that would stand out amongst ‘like’ organisations and be non-bureaucratic, positive, approachable and inclusive of different cultures, ethnicities, abilities and family types.

THE SOLUTION

A strong, graphic, visual identity and highlighted with a unique photographic style combined with illustration. We developed the line ‘Giving New Zealand Families a Voice.’ The brand was launched nationally with an awareness campaign that included a television commercial with 2D animation, radio, posters and an original song composed and written by Charlotte Yates.
